Privacy policy
This website is an information page about Dr. Abu Ammar Rizvi. It has no accounts, no database and no tracking of its own.
Last updated: 2 October 2026
In short: this site has no sign-up, no advertising and no database of patients. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. The appointment form does not send your details to a server; it opens WhatsApp on your own device with a message already written.
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers this website only, which presents information about Dr. Abu Ammar Rizvi, a General, Laparoscopic and Trauma Surgeon practising at Cribs Hospital, Madhubani, Bihar.
It does not cover Cribs Hospital’s own systems, its hospital records, or any other website you reach from a link here. Hospital records are handled by the hospital under its own policies and under the law.
2. What we collect
There is no account to create, no newsletter, no comment box, and no database of patients behind these pages. Nothing you type on this site is saved here.
The one thing that is collected is anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics: which pages are opened, roughly where in the world the visitor is, which device and browser they use, and how they arrived. It is used to understand which information patients look for. It does not tell us who you are, and it is never combined with anything you send by WhatsApp or email.
As with any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages may keep standard technical logs (for example the IP address making the request, the time, and the page requested) for security and reliability. These logs are produced by the hosting provider, not by this site, and are not used to identify or profile visitors.
3. The appointment form
The “Request a visit” form on this site is not a normal web form. Nothing you type is transmitted to or saved on this website. When you press send, your browser opens WhatsApp with a message already written out, containing the details you entered.
You remain in control: the message is only sent if you press send inside WhatsApp. From that point the message is an ordinary WhatsApp conversation between you and the clinic, carried by WhatsApp and subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Details you share this way (your name, phone number, preferred date and any symptoms you describe) are used only to arrange and confirm your appointment.
5. Third-party services
A few outside services are used to make the pages work. When your browser loads content from them, it necessarily contacts their servers, and they may receive your IP address and basic device information under their own policies:
- Google Analytics — anonymous visit statistics, as described above.
- Google Maps — the embedded map showing the hospital locations.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces used on the pages.
- WhatsApp — opened only when you choose to send an appointment message or tap the WhatsApp button.
- The hosting provider — the service that delivers these pages to your browser.
This site does not sell, rent or share any information with anyone, because it holds none.
6. Medical information
Please do not send detailed medical records, scans or reports through this website. If you want to share them before a visit, send them on WhatsApp or by email to the addresses on the contact page, or bring them with you to the OPD.
Any medical information you do share is used solely to advise you and plan your care, and is treated with the confidentiality expected of a doctor and the hospital.
7. Your choices
The site keeps no profile of you, so there is nothing here to view, correct or delete. If you have sent information by WhatsApp or email and want it removed from the clinic’s messages, write to us using the contact details below and ask.
To stop the anonymous analytics, block cookies for this site or use the opt-out add-on described in section 4.
You can browse this site with cookies and storage blocked in your browser; everything except the one-time opening animation will still work normally.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them. Appointments for a child should be arranged by a parent or guardian.
9. Changes to this policy
If the way this site works changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it. Please check back from time to time.
